Heyyyyyyy!!! I hope you’re well today?
We’re picking it up from the last episode and if you’re yet to read He doesn’t bite, please do.

I had to be told that the dog won’t harm me. If there was no one to tell me, I would have remained afraid hence limiting my freedom and enjoyment.
But how can people call on him for help if they’ve not yet believed? And how can they believe in one they’ve not yet heard of? And how can they hear the message of life if there is no one there to proclaim it?
Romans 10:14
It’s our work as God’s children, to tell people about who God. We do that by shining our lights. We are pointers to Christ.
We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.2 Corinthians 5:16-20
The original mandate God gave to man when He created him was to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. Remember that man was created in God’s image, so the plan was that man will fill the earth with God’s untainted image.
The earth is to be covered with the glory of God just as the waters cover the seas. When the earth is full with God’s glory, it means there’s a saturation.
My knowledge of chemistry tells me that when a solution is saturated, it contains the maximum concentration of a solute dissolved in the solvent. That means, there’s no space for any other solute to dissolve. Do you get? That’s the plan!! That nothing other than the glory of God will be seen.
The problem is that people have a tainted view of God, just like I had about Snow-white. We have to tell them that God is not who they think He is. Instead, He is a loving God whose compassion is open to all. He is an all-inclusive God.
Romans 10:17 says Faith comes by hearing, the world needs to hear it! Who will tell them if you keep quiet!!?? Who will show them if you dim your light? Like I said in A Candle or The Sun, not all of us will have opportunities to hold a mic or stand on a raised platform to preach but you can write, you can dance, you can sing, you can paint, you can speak, you can cook… None of these skills are for waste in God’s kingdom. All of these things are tools, and a tool is meant to be used!!
If my family waited to show me by their lifestyle that Snow-white does not bite, I probably would have waited till forever to get the memo that she won’t harm me. But they didn’t do that, they verbalised it.
We have to be vocal and unashamed about this commission given to us, the gospel should not be preached by our lifestyles alone. We’re called to do a noble task, and it should be done with all diligence .
I was told that Snow-white would not bite me, and now if you’re to stay in my house for some time, I’ll tell you the same thing. I’ll be with you for a while, as you find your footing and gain your confidence around her just as my foster family were with me. Now, that’s discipleship, which is the process of helping people grow.
Our work doesn’t end in pointing people to Christ. We, as members of the same family which they now belong to, to help them grow spiritually. We need to show them who they are in Christ from scriptures, tell them about the power and the victory they now possess and every other truth we know.
When they are able to stand on their own, they in turn will point others to Christ and help them grow. The chain keeps expanding, and soon, the kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.
Glory to God!
Thank you for reading till the end, and until next time, please tell someone that God does not bite.
