Obedience is the very best way to show that you believe.

That is a song we usually sing while I was in the Sunday school, at First ECWA Samaru, Zaria.
I now teach the Sunday school children in my church in Oyo. Today, we (the Sunday school teachers) learnt a number of things from the children, as they read  different scriptures and explained to us what it means to them.
The last thing we discussed today was on obedience, so I was opportuned to teach them this song I learnt.
I wrote the song for them on the whiteboard, and as we sang, the song hit differently. I highlighted three phases for them: doing exactly, doing it happily, and do it immediately.

It’s amazing what this song defines obedience to be!

The next time God (or any authority) asks you to do a thing, do it exactly, happily and immediately! Don’t try to do it at your timing, or in a modified manner. Don’t do it grudgingly!
